This group of 25 people is part of the banc villageois" of Walidaan which was created on the 19th of November 2004. The "banc villageois" groups together members who live in the same district and members who live in surrounding districts and who are trustworthy. The good atmosphere of understanding between the group members and their solidarity is their biggest strength. Their main businesses are retail and livestock fattening.

Fatou, standing on the right of the picture and raising her hand, is 48 years old. She is married and the mother of 2 children, one of whom is a girl. She is a small retailer. She has been in this line of work for a long time and is very experienced. She goes to the big towns where she stocks up on vegetables which she then resells at her local market. She will buy 100 000 francs worth of vegetables: 3 bags of carrots (at 30 000 per bag), 5 000 francs worth of turnips, 3 bags of cabbages for 22 500 francs, 2 bags of bitter eggplants for 20 000 francs and 20 000 francs worth of sweet eggplants. Her transport costs will be 2 500 francs. The 100 000 francs she will receive will be used as working capital. She will use the profits she makes to build her savings and build a house on land she has already bought.

Le BV regroupe des membres qui habitent le même quartier et des membres qui habitent dans d'autres quartiers environnants et qui inspirent confiance. La bonne entente et la solidarité constituent leur force. Leurs principales activités sont le commerce et l'embouche.

Elle fait cette activité depuis un bon moment et a une très bonne expérience dans ce domaine. Elle va dans les grandes villes où elle s'approvisionne en légumes qu'elle revend au marché de sa localité.
Elle achète pour 100 000 F de légumes à savoir : 03 sacs de carottes à 30 000 F, navets 5000 F, 03 sacs de choux à 22 500 F, 02 sacs d'aubergines amer à 20 000 F, aubergine douce à 20 000 F et 2500 F de frais de transport. Les 100 000 F vont lui servir de fond de roulement.
Avec les bénéfices réalisés, elle va renforcer son épargne et aussi construire une maison sur le terrain qu'elle a déjà acquis.
