A loan of $375 helped to buy beer, chairs and tables to equip her business.

Mixdalia Del Socorro's story

Mixdalia, 26, lives with her husband in the district of Buenos Aires. The people here work in agriculture, commerce and raising livestock. This is a community, well-known for selling ready-made meals, which is two hours away from Piura, a region of Peru known for its delicious cuisine.

She sells beer and snacks which she prepares herself and then sells from her own home. She is asking for a loan of 1,000 nuevos soles to buy beer and ingredients to make these appetizers and also to equip her business with chairs and tables. In this way she hopes to get more business to improve her standard of living.
