Yrma Rosa tiene 45 años de edad, vive junto a su esposo y su hijos en el distrito de Oyotun, su población se dedica a la agricultura, comercio y ganadería a dos horas de la ciudad de Chiclayo, costa norte del Perú.

Ella se dedica a la crianza y comercialización de animales menores patos, cerdos, gallinas, pavos y cuyes en la parte posterior a su domicilio, es conocida en la zona, lo distribuye por los caserios aledaños a su comunidad.

Ha solicitado un préstamo de 2 000 nuevos soles para construir una granja de cerdos en un terreno cerca a su domicilio y así ofrecer su producción a sus clientes, generando mayores ingresos para su familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
