A loan of $450 helped to buy children's clothing to sell.

Paola Janhette's story

Paola is a 29-year-old woman. She lives in the city of Pucallpa with her young son. She is a hard-working single mother who dedicates all of her efforts to getting ahead. Thanks to her effort and her parents' support, Paola was able to study for a professional degree in Education.

On her own initiative, Paola works as a teacher in a primary education center in her city. She works every day for approximately 10 hours, and she believes it is going well for her because of her dedication and her patience with her students.

Paola is very grateful to the Kiva lenders, since thanks to the help provided to her she will be able to buy children's garments to sell. She would like to sell them during the Christmas season, and in this way she would like to obtain a little more money. In this way, Paola will keep working and doing her best in order to achieve her great dream of having her own house.
