A loan of $1,000 helped invest in the purchase of gladiola seeds and fertilizers for her fields.

Olinda's story

Olinda is 38 years old and lives with her husband and her youngest son of 15 years of age. She is a farmer and her work obligates her to work in places away from her home because her fields are located in areas that are very difficult to reach. Having dedicated more than 20 years to this activity has given her the necessary experience and adaptability to develop in this trade. In the same way, in spite of having the major part of her day taken up by this work, she tries to enjoy it, especially since she has always liked to grow flowers. The work does not appear hard for her, what does worry her, however, is the cost of the products that help her keep an adequate production level.

Olinda has a great love for her husband and her 15 year old son, which is the main driver in her life. She is ready to continue growing, for which she needs money to buy seeds and fertilizers for her fields, with the purpose of increasing her income, her production and her orders in the flower markets.
