Ms. Thach, 58, works in the agricultural production with a monthly income of nearly VND 400,000. She is married and has a grown-up son. At the moment, her son is married and staying in a house next to her's. She has been a member of the Women's Union since 1975. Her family currently does not have a latrine, and she has to use her son's latrine.

With her portion of this loan, she will be able to build a hygienic septic tank latrine and a hand-washing device with soap. Those facilities would help her family improve their health and living conditions, and offer safety for them, particularly at night and during rainstorms. In addition to providing convenience, cleanliness, and privacy for all family members, it will be contributing to the environment protection of the community.
