Sameer is a 24-year-old from Nablus who lives in Askar camp, a Palestinian refugee camp. It is located on the outskirts of the West Bank city of Nablus and was established in 1950 on 209 dunams [one dunam is 1000 square meters] of land. In 1960 the camp was expanded onto a further 90 dunams.

Sameer thought of doing something to contribute to the family income, as his parents' income alone is not sufficient to fulfill the demands of all the family members. His life condition forced him to complete his secondary education. In 2005 he started sewing at a shop as an employee. After that he opened his own workshop after one year. He sews clothes for the clothing shops in his area on demand.

His dream is to make his own brand and sell in large areas. Sameer is asking Ryada for this youth loan to buy another sewing machine and shelves. He is very grateful to everyone who helps him to achieve success.
