A loan of $275 helped to pay for fertilizer and farm inputs for her business.

Lewelyn's story

This is Lewelyn. She previously obtained a PHP 15,000 loan that she used to buy gardening materials and supplies needed in her business. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her child, in their personal, household, and business expenditures.

She would like to apply for another PHP 12,000 loan. She will be using the loan to buy gardening materials like wire and baskets and supplies such as seed and fertilizer needed in her business.

Her profits from her business will definitely help sustain her daily needs and children's education. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Lewelyn dreams of being more successful in her business and hopes to give her children a good life and education. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of their work every week and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God that she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay micro-finance loans.
