A loan of $650 helped to buy new fabrics for the fall retail season.

Sheraly's story

Sheraly is a caring father and a loving husband. He is 28 years old and lives with his family in southern Tajikistan. Sheraly has started his business four years ago. He purchases fabrics wholesale, distributes them among seamstresses who make traditional Tajik dresses from home. Sheraly then sells the dresses at the local market from his own market stall. Every season Sheraly changes the inventory of dresses he has for sale to keep his store competitive. His wife helps Sheraly in this business. Now, with the fall and winter season upon us, Sheraly needs to refresh his inventory but he doesn't have money for a wholesale purchase of fabrics. Sheraly has turned to KIVA for a loan of 3000 somoni which he will use to buy fabrics. He awaits your kindness.
