Sainvil est le coordinateur de son groupe Harmonie de Ouanaminthe. Il est marie et Il a 2 enfants. Il habite dans la region nord est d`Haïti ou l’électricité est rare et de l'éau portable est très limitée. Il a une boutique de vente de produits divers.

Sainvil espère que cet emprunt l’aidera à grandir son business. Il prendra ce prêt pour acheter des vêtements, de cosmétiques et d'autres produits. Des autres membres de son groupe ont besoin d’un emprunt pour faire le commerce tel que ventes produits alimentaires, boissons gazeuses, nourriture, etc.

This loan is designed for a borrower or group of borrowers in Haiti. Esperanza is one of the few MFIs currently working in the northeast region of the country. Through lending, the organization aims to stimulate economic growth and opportunity in a country that has suffered debilitating crises, including political instability, natural disasters and poverty. Esperanza lends primarily to groups of women who cross-guarantee each other's loans. They also receive financial literacy courses and health services.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
