A loan of $600 helped to buy hairspray, tints, creams, nail polish, etc.

Verónica Elizabeth's story

Verónica is 34 years old and went as far as high school. She finished her secretarial studies, although currently she is not following her career. She has been married for 13 years, and they have three children who attend school and still live with them. Her husband is a construction worker.

She has a beauty salon that she set up in in her home a short time ago, because she doesn't have enough money to set it up in a location in the center of the town where she lives. Her business has been operating for a year. She learned this livelihood because she attended a cosmetology course, where they taught her to do it. Her sister is involved in the business, and she employs her during the time she is not there or goes out to buy merchandise.

The loan she is requesting is to buy hairspray, tints, creams, nail polish, etc. The loan improves the borrowers income and she will be able to address some specific needs that the family has. In addition, she will be able to satisfy the demand she has in the town, as she is very well known for doing her work well.

Her dream for her business is to make it into a large place, to set up branches, and to strive to make them successful. For her family, her dream is for her children to go to university and manage to have a job that will assure them of having a decent life. She will use the earnings that result from this loan to set up the shop in the center of town.
