A loan of $1,300 helped to buy more calves and agricultural supplies (manure, fertiliser, pesticide, larvicide, amongst other things) in bulk.

Armando Del Carmen's story

Armando is a 54-year-old farmer who was born into a humble and hardworking family who taught him, when he was still small, to do all different types of farm work. As a result, he now owns some land on which he grows a variety of crops, and also has cattle for rearing and milk production. He sells both the produce from his cattle and his crops in the local market place, which enables him to generate sufficient income to cover the household expenses. His drive, attention to detail and dedication have made him an inspirational man who is always on the lookout for new opportunities to continue making progress. For this reason, he is seeking support in the form of a loan which he would like to use to buy more calves and agricultural supplies (manure, fertiliser, pesticide, larvicide, amongst other things) in bulk. This will enable him to continue tending his crops and to boost his production and, as a result, achieve a considerable increase in the income from his work. Armando's only wish is to be healthy and well so he can continue to put all his efforts into his businesses, since they are now the main source of income he has to provide better living conditions for his family and to pave the way for a much more productive and successful future.
