Lucrecia Bercelia's story

Lucrecia Bercelia is 28 years old. She lives with her daughter in the district of Pucará, where the people grow rice, cacao, coffee, and fruits and commercialize them, and also work in raising livestock. It is located two hours from the city of Jaén, in the northern mountains of Peru.

She sells bread at the supply market in the district. For three months she has also been selling hard candies, yogurt, crackers, and cereals outside the schools in the area. She has applied for a loan of 800 PEN to stock her business by buying candies and thus to have better income for her family.
