That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

A loan of $550 helped to purchase work tools and repair a cement mixer.

Edilbrando's story

He lives with his wife and son in the district of Oyotún, located two hours from the city of Chiclayo, on Peru’s northern coast. The people of Oyotún are engaged in farming, business, and raising cattle. He provides bricklaying services in the area and surrounding villages. He is known for the work that he has been providing for eleven years. He is requesting a loan of 1,500 nuevos soles to purchase cement work materials and to repair his work tool, a cement mixer. In this way, he will continue working and generating higher income for his family.
