A loan of $800 helped to buy land for cultivating coffee.

Cesar's story

Santo Cesar, 26, lives with his wife and children in Atunpampa, a rural zone in the Cañaris district. Its population makes its living raising small animals and in agriculture. Two hours and thirty minutes from the city of Chiclayo, northern coast of Peru.

They have a small store where they offer basic necessities. His wife raises and sells poultry. They are a united and young family that pushes itself a lot to have a better quality of life. Santos Cesar works in agricultural labor in his land, cultivating coffee.

He has applied for a loan of 2200 nuevos soles for the purchase of land alongside his. He explains to us that it is land with streams and it will allow him to have his own irrigation.
