Nyshankul's story

Nyshankul is 54, married, and has raised 5 children together with her husband. All of the children are married, and live on their own. Nyshankul lives with her youngest son and daughter-in-law. Her husband is a truck driver. Nyshankul has a high school education; she is a positive and cheerful woman. Currently she sells vegetables at the local market. For extra income, she also raises livestock. She began this 9 years ago, when she bought a cow for 12,000 som KGS. Thanks to her efforts, her farm now has 2 dairy cows and 2 heifers. Her monthly income is 9,000 som (KGS). TO further develop her business, Nyshankul has come to the Bai-Tushum & Partners microlending bank for a loan in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS) to buy cattle to increase her livestock count. Nyshankul plans on investing the income obtained with the loan into further increasing her livestock count, and plans on saving money to improve her family’s standard of living.
