Irodi's story

Irodi lives in the village of Akhalisopeli. He is 40 years old, married and lives with his wife, school-age son and retired father. Moreover, the family owns beehives with bee colonies and sells honey at the local open market. His agricultural business is successful, but the family needs a stable monthly income.

Irodi decided to start another business as their existing income is seasonal. His loan request was approved under the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and Credo. With the received credit, Irodi will purchase a car and serve the local people as a taxi driver. He will earn a daily income and cover the household expenses. The income of the family will increase and they will be able to improve living conditions in the future.
