Al-Ahd Group's story

This group of five hard-working women is called Al-Ahd. The members live in Sana'a, Yemen. They have applied for a loan in the amount of 320,000 YER from AMB.

Faiza is a 44-year-old married woman living in a poor area in Sana'a. She exhibits good moral values and is concerned for the well-being of her family, which is now living in a partially-finished house that needs essential construction work to be completed. She has therefore requested a loan in the amount of 70,000 YER from AMB, which she will use to buy construction materials like wood, sand, and cement in order to finish building her house. She states that she feels happy and grateful to Kiva lenders for the support that she is being provided, because this way she will be able to provide better living conditions for her family.
