Burulkan's story

Burulkan is 33 years old, married, and together with her husband, is raising five children. Of them, two are of school age and three are toddlers. Burulkan has a secondary education. As the main source of income for her family, Burulkan practices livestock breeding. She started this business 15 years ago, with an initial purchase of cattle in the amount of 8,000 som (KGS). Burulkan has practiced animal breeding over the course of many years. Her husband has actively helped her with this business. Thanks to Burulkan's hard work, she currently has 4 milk cows and 40 sheep on her farm. Her monthly income is 7,000 som (KGS). Burulkan is in the farming group "Kyzyl-Kiya." She is the second member of the group; There are two other members besides her. For the purpose of further developing her business, Burulkan turned to Microfinance Bank "Bai Tushum and Partners." She is requesting a loan in the amount of 65,000 som (KGS) to buy sheep and goats to increase the size of her herd. Burulkan plans to invest the earnings from the loan in the further acquisition of livestock. She also intends to save money to build a new house.
