A loan of $450 helped to purchase small animals to raise.

Bismarck's story

Bismarck is 35 years old. He lives together with his wife and his young son in the district of Oyotún. Its population cultivates rice, yucca, corn and cotton for a living. It is two hours from the city of Chiclayo, on the northern coast of Perú.

With the help of his spouse, they raise and sell small animals like turkeys, ducks and chickens for a living. They are well known in the area, having worked for 10 years in this trade.

He is requesting a loan of 1200 nuevos soles, or $450, for the purchase of small animals to then fatten and offer to the surrounding communities and in this way generate better income for his family.
