A loan of $9,600 helped to purchase new materials and new equipment, including a forklift.

Perry's story

In 2008, Art, an architectural façade specialist and Lithuanian native, started Lavada Inc. Two years later he invited his close friend Perry, a fellow architectural façade specialist, to work alongside him. The two not only share a passion for architecture but they also have a combined 20 years of experience in construction and architecture, and it is this experience and passion that allows them to successfully create facades for dozens of buildings each year.

This dynamic duo is also extremely resilient. Their warehouse, located in Red Hook, Brooklyn, was significantly affected by last fall’s Hurricane Sandy. Left with a lot of damaged equipment and no power , they were forced to close for several weeks, but with help from family and friends, Perry and Art were able to pull themselves up by their bootstraps, clean up their work space, and continue serving clients.

Now that they are back up and running and ready to grow, Perry and Art need your help. This loan will allow them to purchase new materials and new equipment, including a forklift that will allow them to more efficiently transport materials.

Help Perry and Art purchase new equipment and build upon their dream.
