A loan of $1,175 helped to purchase more rubber bowls, buckets and food containers for resale.

Mohamed's story

Meet Mohamed. He is a 32-year-old from Masuba, Makeni, Northern area, in Sierra Leone. He is married with two children.

In 2003, Mohamed established his food container business within a busy market area. He began this business because he was a sales agent, and he started his own business to be self-independent. He works at the business from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., seven days per week. He says that the main challenge to his business is that during the rainy season, sales are very slow.

Mohamed requires a loan in order to purchase more rubber bowls, buckets and food containers for resale. He hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow him to increase his business and start a savings account.

In the future, Mohamed plans to expand his business more than ever. He thanks you for your support.
