A loan of $2,775 helped a member to buy more stock of clothes to resell on market days.


Mnarani Group's story

Ermanilde, who is in her mid 40s, is married with three children who are still at school. She has been running a business selling clothes on market days which falls on every Saturday in different areas. She normally works from 5.00 am to 10.00 pm daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit.

This will be Ermanilde's 4th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to increase the stock of clothes. She has paid back all her loans successfully. She is really happy with the loans and appreciates whoever has supported her group with a loan. She used the profit to pay for school fees and helped the husband to cover household expenses. She will use this loan buy more stock of clothes to resell on market days. She dreams of building her own house.

Ermanilde will share this loan with her loan group, Mnarani ,which has twelve members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
