A loan of $1,200 helped to create another business selling grocery products.

En's story

En T., age 51, is married and lives in Prey Veng, Cambodia. Since 1979, she and her husband, Sudh Sorn, have been working on their rice field to earn a living and they are able to make around US$ 3 to support their family each day. This couple together has four children and all of them are employed with different jobs.

Mrs. En T. would like to borrow from Kiva via Credit, Kiva's local partner, to create another business selling grocery products to the people in her village. She sees this investment as an opportunity that will increase her daily income. (She pictured in her rice field.)

CREDIT MFI is an independent Cambodian faith-based organization. It aims to empower the economically active poor and small entrepreneurs by providing inclusive financial services.
