22 years ago, Omar came to the United States from Colombia with the hopes of forging a better future for his family. As a Colombian, he understands the bond that immigrants still have with their own countries—especially when family members are left behind in their native countries. Families in the US often send packages of products and presents to relatives who remain in their former homelands.
Discovering that ever-present need, Omar founded Envio Express a package/parcel shipping services where the quality of services and the rapidness of delivery have been the key to his current success. Omar previously worked in the shipping and packing industry and has been able to apply all of the skills he learned at his previous place of work. Omar has no employees and manages the business entirely on his own. His biggest difficulty so far has been a lack of cash-flow.
Omar hopes to obtain a loan to purchase a new computer and build a website in order to reach potential clients.
