A loan of $2,550 helped to buy new garden tools, seeds and fertilizers.

Saleh's story

Saleh is 32-year-old, young client from Bilasuvar. Saleh is an IDP (internally displaced person). He moved from the City of Fuzuli, and now lives in the Bilasuvar Region with his family. After several attempts to find a job, he decided to start his own business. He is a farmer, and has raised seasonal fruits and vegetables for the last four years. He breeds cattle, too. He chose this business because it is profitable, and fresh crops are in high demand. Saleh sells his crops in the central bazaar. His monthly income is 100 AZN. His father actively helps him to raise the crops. As his products are in high demand, he wants to expand his business and produce more fruits and vegetables to cover market demand. For this purpose, he applied for 2000 AZN. He will buy new garden tools, seeds and fertilizers. This is going to be his first loan.
