Cristita is 36 years old and married with five children, all of whom are in school. Cristita works very hard to provide for them.
Cristita runs a general store in the Philippines. She has been in this business for 18 years and sells a variety of items, such as body lotion, snack foods and other groceries. She requested a 9,000 Philippine pesos (PHP) loan through NWTF to purchase more groceries to sell.
In the future, Cristita would like to save money to expand her business and continue to send her children to college.

The organization offers its clients a wide variety of products, including loans for micro-entrepreneurs, hospital income benefits, life insurance, accidental death benefits and more. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the reach of these products to low-income urban and rural communities.
