Oswaldo's story

Oswaldo, 42, lives with his wife and children in the Pucará district, two hours from the city of Jaén in the Cajamarca region on the northern coast of Peru. The main source of income of the people there is agriculture, growing and selling fruit trees, cacao, and rice.

He makes a living selling grains, beans, corn, wheat, rice, etc. He buys the products in the communities near Pucará and sells them in the same area.

Oswaldo has requested a loan for 2,000 nuevos soles [PEN] to buy more products so he can increase his business and earn more income for his family.
