Kadyrbai's story

Kadyrbai is 36 years old, married, and is raising three children with his wife. Kadyrbai has a secondary education. Animal husbandry is the family's main source of income. Kadyrbai started this business 18 years ago by buying cattle with 5,000 KGS. Thanks to Kadyrbai's hard work his farm boasts one dairy cow, a calf, three goats, and a plot of land measuring 2.53 hectares where he grows barley and corn. He earns a monthly income of 15,000 KGS. Kadyrbai is a member of the group "Almali". This group includes two other people. Kadyrbai is the leader of the group. In order to further develop his farm, Kadyrbai has asked the microfinance bank Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 75,000 KGS to buy sheep for breeding. Kadyrbai plans to use profits he makes from the loan to further increase his herd and to save enough money to buy a family car.
