A loan of $1,050 helped to buy wholesale merchandise (home appliances, cosmetics, perfumes, body lotions, face creams etc).

Belén De Jesús's story

Belén lives with her husband and two children.

For some time now, she has sold merchandise such as small home appliances and mail order products. Her main clients are acquaintances, friends and neighbors from her neighborhood.

She works alone every day from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. This is how she earns enough income to support her husband with the burden of the household economy. The initial motivation to start working was that some of the household expenses sometimes increase in an unpredictable manner affecting the financial stability.

She is a vibrant, active and enterprising woman who is always looking for new ways to continue expanding her business.

She is requesting this loan to buy wholesale merchandise (home appliances, cosmetics, perfumes, body lotions, face creams etc). This way she can take advantage of the discounts and sales which allow her to buy the items at a lower cost, increasing her profit margin at the time of sale, resulting in a positive economic outcome for her home.

Belén wants to keep working hard so that in the future she can fulfill her dream of having her own profitable variety store which will allow her to give her children an excellent education and better welfare for the whole family.
