A loan of $425 helped to buy supplies.

Zoraida Yisel's story

Zoraida is 32 years old and the single mother of two children. He has had her own business, providing manicures and pedicures at home, according to her customers’ needs, for 14 years. She learned this through practice and began doing her family’s nails when she was very young. She improved her techniques little by little and decided to start a business to pay for the household needs and provide for her children’s wellbeing. Her drive, tenacity, and spirit of success, have allowed her to overcome the obstacles that she faces, such as when she was robbed and all her work equipment was stolen. However, she knew how to handle the situation and has resurged once more. She is asking for a loan to buy work equipment (foot and hand massager), tools, and supplies in quantity (emery boards, buffers, nail polish, massage treatments, and other things). This will allow her to reactivate her business and continue to provide excellent quality service that satisfies her customer needs, especially over the end of year season, when demand for service increases. In this way Zoraida can continue working so that she can continue generating income so she can buy a house where she can set up her own beauty salon and be near her children. She will also generate income so she can provide them with a good education and better living conditions.
