A loan of $500 helped to buy inventory.

Oneyda Esperanza's story

Oneyda is 34 years old and lives in a common law marriage with her husband. They have a daughter and they live in the town of Choloma, Cortes. She used to sell tortillas, but one year ago she decided to sell men’s, women’s, and children’s used clothing, such as shorts, blouses, jeans, shirts, t-shirts, dresses, etc. Her business is in her home and she has a good number of customers. She is asking for a loan of 10,000 Lempiras to invest in more merchandise such as second hand jeans, shirts, blouses, pants, and children’s clothing to have a better inventory and increase her sales. She wants to save up to be able to have a home of her own and provide an education for her daughter.
