Belizario's story

Belezario is 60 years old and lives together with his wife and children in the district of Pomahuaca, located 20 minutes from Pucará, Perú. The main activities in the area involve agriculture, commerce, and raising livestock. He is situated in Jaén, in the mountains to the north of Perú.

He is known for his work and his metallic carpenter's shop, located in his home. He makes different metal products like doors, windows, and stairs. He has a very close family, and his oldest son offers transportation services via the family's motorcycle taxi.

He explains that he is asking for a loan of 3500 nuevos soles (Peruvian currency) in order to purchase materials and tools for carpentry and in this way he will be able to improve his family income.
