Alfonso's story

Alfonso is 60 years old. He is married, has two children and lives in the municipality of La Lima, Cortes. Alfonso has worked for many years as a bus driver but 3 years ago he decided to open his own business with his wife in order to cover the costs of maintaining his household. He set up a grocery store where he sells basic staple foods such as meats, drinks, chips, butter, flour, cleaning products, eggs, bread, tinned products, dairy products, cold meats, plastic items, etc.

This loan is for 15,000 HNL which he will invest in buying more tinned products (sauces, meats, sardines, mixed vegetables, milk, etc.) and plastic items to sell and be able to offer a greater range of products in order to increase sales and earnings. His objective is to continue extending his business and get his family ahead.
