Heri Group's story

Jesca, who is in her mid 20s, is single with one daughter, who goes to school.

She has been running a business of selling different items door to door, things like clothes, earrings, and necklaces. She has been in this business for three years now. She works from 12 noon to 6 p.m. daily and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be Jesca's second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loan to increase her stock of clothes, earrings, and necklaces. She has paid back her loan successfully. She used the profit to cover household expenses. She is happy with the loan.

She will use this loan to buy more clothes, earrings, and necklaces to resell. She dreams of owning a shop where she can sell her products.

Jesca will share this loan with her loan group, HERI, which has 10 members who hold each other accountable for paying back the loan
