Samnang's story

Samnang is 29 years old. She is married, and resides with one child in Takeo Province, Cambodia.

She has been working in a garment factory for more than two years, earning approximately $5 per day. Her husband, who is joining her in the picture, runs a business buying junk materials to resell and breeding pigs. He makes an income of $6 each day.

In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Samnang is requesting a loan of $1350 to purchase piglets and fodder for breeding. By doing so, she would be able to expand the business and generate more income for the family. In the future, she would like to build a new house and send her child to a good school.
