A loan of $1,075 helped to purchase small animals and balanced animal feed.

Segundo's story

Segundo is 63 years old. He lives with his family in the Cayaltí district, whose residents make a living by growing sugar cane and selling small animals. It is about two hours from the city of Chiclayo on Perú's northern coast.

His family makes a living by raising and selling small animals in the market in their area. They are an entrepreneurial family and are well-known for the work that they do.

Segundo has requested a loan for 3,000 nuevos soles to purchase small animals (ducks, guinea pigs, and turkeys) and to purchase balanced animal feed to fatten his animals. This way, he will be able to stock his business with the things he will sell to his customers.
