A loan of $400 helped to buy beverages, margarine, bread, eggs, chicken, sugar, coffee, churros, meat, canned goods, rice, beans, etc. for her business.

Alba Marina's story

Alba is hardworking and responsible. She lives in a town in southern Honduras with her three children. She has owned a small grocery store for five years that her neighbors shop at regularly. Alba has applied for a loan to buy more merchandise like beverages, margarine, bread, eggs, chicken, sugar, coffee, churros, meat, canned goods, rice, beans, and more to meet customer demand.

Alba hopes the loan will help her buy enough merchandise to satisfy her customers and fill their orders so that her sales and income increase enough to improve her family's standard of living. Alba dream is to grow her business, making it the best known in her neighborhood, and to keep helping her family achieve its goals and her children their dreams, such as finishing their education.
