Vidal tiene 52 años de edad, vive junto a su esposa en la zona rural de La Matanza, una comunidad que se dedica a la agricultura, comercio de animales menores y ganadería, que pertenece a Morropon, a dos horas de la ciudad de Piura, costa norte del Perú.

Junto a su familia que se dedican a la venta de animales menores pavos, gallinas, cerdos y chivos, conocidos en la zona por la labor que realizan. Vidal ha solicitado u préstamo de 3 000 nuevos soles para la compra de mayor cantidad de animales menores para llevar a ofrecerlos a los caseríos aledaños a su comunidad y de esta manera generar mayores ingresos para su familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
