A loan of $900 helped to purchase tailoring materials: thread and fabric; and balanced feed for her animals.

Francisca's story

Francisca is 64 years old. She lives together with her youngest son in the district of Zaña. Its residents work in all types of business and in agriculture. It is two hours from the city of Chiclayo, on the northern coast of Perú.

She explains to us that she works sewing garments. Her shop is located in her house. With the help of her son, they raise young animals – ducks, hens, and guinea pigs – that they sell in the area’s market after fattening them.

They are a united family. Francisca has requested a loan of 2500 nuevos soles for the purchase of tailoring materials like fabric and thread, and a second part for balanced feed for fattening her animals, and in this way have better production to offer her clients, generating additional income for her family.
