Razia's Group's story

Razia belongs to an ultra poor family and lives with her spouse and six children in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. Her husband is a blacksmith; he manufactures iron accessories, which are used for houses, doors, and windows. With the help of a welding plant, he has been making iron doors and windows in addition to fixing broken accessories. Recently, his welding plant was broken due to overheating, and he wants to buy new welding plant. He does not have the money due to lot of household expenses. Therefore, Razia requested a loan from BRAC, an active field partner of Kiva, so that her husband would be able to buy a welding plant for manufacturing.
