Naransolongo's story

Mrs. Naransolongo is 28 years old and lives with her husband and 3 children, under 8, in their Ger (a traditional nomadic tent accommodation) in Uvs province of Mongolia. Her husband is a driver and currently unemployed. Her older child attends a local primary school, and the younger 2 go to kindergarten.

Naransolongo has been herding livestock with her husband since 2005. Her husband takes care of their livestock during winter when the livestock requires a lot of work, and he used to work as a part-time driver.

Naransolongo started producing traditional leather boots at home in 2010, and now provides a variety of traditional boots to her clients. She is now requesting 4,500,000 MNT to let her husband start a butcher shop business and increase their family income. She and her husband are hardworking and diligent people.
