Due to the family’s financial constraints, Leakena is experiencing difficulties covering her education fees, so she decided to take out a loan in the amount of 1,575 US dollars, which will enable her to cover the overall fees for the rest of her three-year courses at the university. Leakena is very happy and thankful for the loan funded via Kiva to allow poor students to pursue a higher education, and contribute to the future development of Cambodia.
