Leonita's story

Leonita is 36 years old, married and provides for seven members of her family.

She has been in the milk-selling business but also has a cabbages farm. She has run her agriculture business for the last five years, earning a monthly income of KES 10,000.

She has borrowed KES 20,000 and plans to use it to purchase more milk for resale as well as improve on farming cabbages. She will use the profits from the milk trade to invest in dairy farming. Her dream is to invest in cash crops like tea.
