Teodora's story

Teodora, who is 27 years old, is a kind and hardworking woman. She is married to German and has two children with him. They both work a lot to provide their children with a better quality of life. They live in their own home. Teodora's work consists of selling prepared food, such as fried rice, grilled chicken, meats, kabobs, and other dishes. Her work starts very early with the purchase of the ingredients she uses to make her dishes. She has a small restaurant where she serves her customers in the evening. Her establishment is located in a high-traffic neighborhood, so her sales are always good. In addition to her prepared meals, she sells refreshing bottled drinks or drinks made from local fruits, such as camucamu, cocona, aguaje, or purple corn. She has had this business for five years. Sometimes her husband or her sister help her. When she started this business she had few customers and now it is going very well for her. She is currently asking for 1,000 soles and she is thankful for the opportunity she has been offered to make her work plans a reality. With the requested amount she will buy ingredients to make her dishes, such as rice, condiments, chicken, meat, sausages, vegetables, fruits to make drinks, potatoes, and others.
