A loan of $475 helped to pay for additional computer parts and supplies for her shop.

Ma. Luz's story

Ma. Luz is thankful for the financial assistance extended to her. She was able to buy additional computer parts and supplies for her computer shop. This is also helpful for the education of her two children. Her business has been running for four years now. Her income from her business assisted in their everyday expenses at home. She and her husband are working hard to provide for their everyday needs.

She would like to apply for another PHP 20,000 loan to buy more computer parts and supplies for her shop. Her profits from her business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Ma. Luz dreams that her business will be successful and hopes that her children will finish their studies. She meets every week with her co-fellowship members in order to share stories of their lives and business. She also draws strength from the Word of God that she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, to build social capital, and to repay their microfinance loans.
