A loan of $2,000 helped to open a building materials shop.

Goar's story

Goar is a 30-year-old married woman. She lives in a small village of Tsalka district with her husband and three children.

The family is involved in agricultural activities. In particular, they have a plot of agricultural land, where they grow potatoes and cabbages. Goar and her husband work hard, and they always have high-quality products, which are sold to local retailers.

Goar decided to start a family business and requested a loan. The Start Up program, which is a joint initiative with Kiva and Credo, enables her to get a loan of $2,000 for opening a building materials shop. With the received credit, she will purchase a stock of building materials to sell in her shop.
