Segundo Ruperto's story

Ruperto is 43 years old. He lives in a rural area of Oyotun, a community whose main trade is in small livestock and in growing rice, corn and yucca. It is located two hours from the city of Chiclayo, on the northern coast of Peru.

Ruperto makes his living raising and selling small livestock, such as ducks, hens and guinea pigs. His business is located behind his house.

Ruperto has applied for a loan of 2,000 nuevos soles to buy animal feed, which will allow him better production and at the same time, greater income for a better quality of life.
