A loan of $400 helped to buy pigs and agricultural supplies.

Teresa De Jesus's story

Teresa is a single mother who lives with her four children. She is the cornerstone of the family and shoulders all of the responsibility for generating income so she and her children can get on in life. Her business is rearing pigs and growing basic grains. It is easy for her to take care of feeding the pigs, since she keeps them at her home. She hires labourers for sowing the crops. She will buy pigs and agricultural supplies, which will strengthen her business and as a result give her a better yield, a bigger business and better profits. She dreams of improving her family's living conditions, giving her children better food, health and education and paying off her loan instalments punctually so that she can have the opportunity of continuing to work with loans in the future.
