G.s. Los Emprendedores Group's story

The group Los Emprendedores ("The entrepreneurs") is formed by three members, two men and a woman. They are responsible parents with seven children total under their responsibility. They are originally from Leon, a place that is located in the western region of the country. These people are characterized as being hard-working, responsible, and with interest in personal growth. Unfortunately due to the lack of economic resources they were not able to study for a university degree to have a better future. Thanks to her efforts and desire to move forward, the coordinator is Francis. She has a convenience store, which is a small store with food products like rice, beans, sugar, milk, bread, detergent, soap, juices, sodas, matches, and eggs. She works in her business for 12 hours a day, offering her products so that in a not-very-far future she can obtain better income. The objective of the loan is to invest in working capital and stock her store through the purchase and sale of food products. The group Los Emrendedores is thankful for the help that the Kiva investors provide to people of scarce resources and poor countries like Nicaragua to have a dignified way of work.
